CRAAP EVALUATION

Use the CRAAP model to evaluate your group's website. Which website would be the best/worst for a college paper? Why?

• Currency: Is the website current and up-to-date? When was it last updated?
• Relevance: Is this information important for my needs?
• Authority: Who wrote the website (author can be an organization)? What is their expertise or credentials?
• Accuracy: Where did they get their information? Is it opinion or fact based? Is there a list of sources or links for more info?
• Purpose: Is this website designed to educate, to sell, to persuade? Is it objective in the information it is providing?
